Prosnack operates their SQF2 food manufacturing facility under strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as outlined by SQF protocol. Our employees are already trained and accustomed to working under strict protocols.
The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide. Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the SQF family of food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to the retail stores’ end consumers.

At the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak, senior management enacted a detailed action plan initiating additional procedures to mitigate potential challenges to maintain manufacturing at 100% capacity. At the same time, we have prepared planning to increase capacity, in response to increased demands for proper nutrition. We expect this to become an essential requirement to a wide selection of the general population.
With the Coronavirus outbreak continuing to spread, the Prosnack Manufacturing Facility has implemented its full pandemic plan which includes.
- Increased SQF cleaning standards and employee hygiene
- Separating sections of the production facility and warehouse restricting movement of employees throughout the facility/offices
- All nonessential office employees are working from home
- Maintain employee teams that do not comingle with other teams
- No large gathering of employees for meetings.
- Increased facility testing on all common surfaces throughout the whole facility i.e. production area, lunchrooms, warehouse etc.
- Suspension of all outside guests and meetings are suspended at the facility
